He is a proud member of the Vernon Silver Star Rotary Club, the Salvation Army Community Council, and serves as a director on the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce — keeping his finger on the pulse of what’s happening throughout the Okanagan Valley.

Together with his wife Carol, his high school sweetheart, their adult children along with their spouses, and two granddaughters, the von Holst family has called Vernon home since 2002 and continues to enjoy everything this beautiful region has to offer.
